About Reiki
Reiki is the name given to a method of natural healing that works with life force energy, using specific techniques and principles to relax and release any energy blockages.
Reiki is the vital life energy which flows through all living things and which can be utilised for the purpose of healing. Reiki practitioners believe that everyone has the ability to connect to their own healing energy and use it for the purposes of strengthening the Ki (or life energy) of others.
Debs offers Reiki training in the Japanese style of Usui Reiki Ryoho that allows you to discover this for yourself.
The Reiki practitioner channels the Ki through their hands to the recipient, activating the body's natural ability to support itself. Reiki healing is a relaxing, complementary therapy that can help the body to build its natural ability to self heal as well as allowing you to balance your emotions, clear your mind and maintain a healthy, stress-free lifestyle.

Reiki Courses
Debs Cordery offers Reiki courses for anyone who wishes to learn Reiki for themselves. Debs teaches the Japanese style of Usui Reiki Ryoho, which is offered as 3 levels:
Shoden (level 1)
For treating self and friends
- An explanation of Reiki and its history
- The 5 elements of the system
- The Precepts of Reiki as explored in the system
- Various meditation and energy techniques
- Hand positions for treating the self and others
- Group work with Reiki healing
- 4 attunements to the energy
Duration: 2 days
Okuden (level 2)
Practitioner level; for treating members of the public
- Introduction to 3 symbols and their energies
- Tuition of the 3 symbols and mantras
- Concepts of Earth (yin/in) and Heaven (yang/yo) energies and Oneness
- Distance healing using 2 different methods
- Additional techniques for healing using Reiki energy
- 3 attunements to the energy
Duration: 2 days
Shinpiden: Master/Teacher (level 3)
A deeper exploration of Reiki and ability to teach others
- Review of Okuden level symbols and mantras and the Precepts
- Tuition of the Master symbol and mantra
- How to attune others to Reiki levels
- Receiving and tuition of Reiju (spiritual blessing and energetic communication)
- Additional energy, meditation and Reiki techniques
- Attunement to the energy
